Situated on the banks of the Holy River Ganges in Varanasi, India, Bal Ashram creates an environment in which abandoned and orphaned children can thrive. Through social and environmental education, we aspire to raise heart-centered citizens with a sense of responsibility for the Self and the global community. Each year, many people from abroad visit Bal Ashram to be of service, sharing their talents with the children and participating in our other projects in Varanasi.
